About Kunal
A working life split between building businesses, running a boxing bench, and reporting the news — with a Post-Graduate discipline in human rights underneath all three.
I build and steer ventures across strategic consulting, media and cross-border trade — and spend the rest of my time on the causes that don't show up on a balance sheet: sports governance, human rights, and the civic institutions that hold a city together.
My working life splits three ways. As Chairman of ONRAVCOM, I advise businesses on strategy and market positioning. As Founder of Taption Media and Editor-in-Chief of News Only 24, I tell other people's stories for a living. And through a decade in boxing administration — from district associations to the Bengal Olympic Association — I've stayed close to the sport that first taught me discipline.
In August 2024, I travelled to Paris as a delegate for the Indian boxing contingent at the Summer Olympics — the Eiffel Tower lit gold behind me. It remains the clearest single image of what I try to do: show up, represent well, and make the moment count.
“I had the privilege of representing the Indian delegation at the Paris 2024 Summer Olympics, as a delegate for the Indian boxing team. It remains one of the most surreal and uplifting moments of my life.”
